Technology in the next 50 years

I can remember my first usage of the internet is in the fourth grade (that is if my memory serves me correctly); however, since then technology has grown tremendously! We went from cassette players to CD players from PC to laptops from MP3s to IPODs, see the list can continue. I think that technology is great. However, it is also a HUGE disadvantage. I have noticed that within myself that I have been dependent on technology such as cell phones, iPods, and the computers. When there is a problem with either one of these, I FREAK OUT usually; especially my cell phone. In the business realm, technology will continue to make things easier, possibly take over a lot peoples jobs. In the school realm, education will be a lot more exciting and things will become easier for students and teachers. In the world, generally like if things continue to advance, who knows we will be having machines doing things for us. Overall, in the next fifty years technology will definitely continue to have a greater effect on the world.

Reflection of DAY 2

WHAT A DAY! We were involved in two projects. First project for the morning was to make a Powerpoint Presentation on Intern's observation, Teacher visits, Motto, and Intern's duties. As a group, each team presented to the audience and recieved feedback. I enjoyed watching the different levels of creativity and some similarities of the different groups. I personally enjoy Powerpoint Presentations, especially creating them. The next project was to make a movie by using MovieMaker program.  ALthough, I have worked with a similar program, DVDMaker, to MovieMaker before, there were so many problems that occured. Some of those problems were lack of proper internet usuage, uploading issues, and images being lost. However, the whole process of making the movie was a GRAND. As a team, we got to work together and impliment our different suggestions and ideas. I am glad that as a group we were very open minded and it worked out well.
I also got the opportunity to write on the Promethean board(IT WAS FUN)! However, my hand writing did not look too legible.  I am excited to finish the project (movie) tomorrow and to see what the other groups created!

Reflection for today

When training began I was quite bored because most of the material that was being discussed I am already compenent in those areas. However, after break things began to lighten up. I learned so much about my gmail account and the variable perks that are offered! I am going to apply what I learned today such as labels, sharing information, and the documents in my everyday email account and bussiness matters. I enjoyed using the promethan board(hope I spelled that correctly), it was AWESOME! I also enjoyed using the audacity program as well. I think that I am going to gain alot of knowledge from this training and can not wait to go to the school system and share with the teachers.

HELLO!
